Do you want to start applying makeup but you don't know where or how to start? Then worry no more because with these steps you will be able to achieve a flawless full face makeup.
1. Skin Prep and Prime
Skin prep is all about preparing your skin for the makeup and for this you use your sunscreen, moisturizer and serum.
A primer will help your makeup have a smooth base and also last longer. For priming use either a hydrating or matifying primer according to your skin type.
2. Eyebrows and Eyeshadow
For your eyebrows use either a brow pencil or brow gel but most preferably brow pencil for beginners. When outlining follow the natural shape of your eyebrows and use very little force when filling in.
Eyeshadow is mostly according to your preference but nude or subtle colours work best for everyday makeup.Use circular motions when applying for better results.
3. Foundation and Concealer
Next step is foundation. Make sure your foundation shade is your exact skin tone, not darker not lighter. For application, tap in using either a beauty blender or a foundation brush.
For concealer use a shade that is two shades lighter than your foundation shade and apply it on areas that you want to highlight mostly your under eyes, forehead, chin and bridge of your nose.
4. Setting powder, Contour and Blush.
To set your concealer use a setting powder and tap it in for better results. Apply this only on places you applied your concealer.
Next apply contour to bring back warmth to your face mostly on your cheek bones, forehead and jawline. For powder contour use a fluffy brush and for cream contour use either a foundation brush or beauty blender.
For blush use a fluffy brush and apply it on your cheeks.
5. Setting spray and Highlighter
Use either a dewy or matifying setting spray depending on your skin type. This will help set your makeup and make it last longer.
For more glow use a highlighter and apply it on top of your cheeks and tip of your nose.
